These pages encourage riders to visit locally owned Topeka businesses by bicycle.
Find a Business
We've divided Topeka into four quadrants by Topeka Blvd. (north-south) and 21st Street (east-west). Click on a quadrant of the map to find businesses, then plan a trip by bicycle! Be sure to tell the business you found them on Bike Local.
Suggest a Listing
You can submit a Bike Local listing by emailing us at kvbctopeka@yahoo.com. Include a photo of yourself with your bike in front of the business, along with the address, non-arterial access (if it exists), places to park your machine, etc. The business must be locally owned and not a chain store.
You don't have to be a KVBC member to submit a listing, but please consider joining. Your membership supports our advocacy efforts to improve Topeka cycling for everyone.
Discounts!
With a Capitol City Wellness sticker on your helmet, you can get discounts at certain businesses if you visit them by bicycle. Find out how to get a helmet sticker, and see a list of participating businesses, by visiting the Bike for Discounts website.
