Weekly Rides

 

All weekly rides are show and go. The amount of people at each ride could vary greatly. Rides subject to weather and if there is enough sunlight to finish the ride.

Summer Ride Schedule 2008
RIDES START WITH DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME AND OR ENOUGH SUNLIGHT TO COMPLETE THE RIDE.


Monday Night Time Trials

Where: 77th and Topeka Blvd at the Heartland Park entrance
When: 6:30 PM
Who: Ride Leader will be Dennis Weinbeck
How: 6 mile loop, 3 miles out and 3 miles back
Pace: Fast as you can do it and aim to get better

Tuesday Afternoon Social Ride NEW RIDE
Where: Gage Park by the Carousel
When: 1:30 PM
Who: Ride Leader is Jim Hoover
How: Ride route and distance determined by the group. (No Drops)

Tuesday Night Fat Tire Ride NEW RIDE
Where: Governor’s mansion parking lot
When: 5:30 PM
Who: Ride Leader will be Keith Lewis
How: Trial riding/ meet at Tecumseh park if too muddy

Pace: Self paced all skill levels welcome

Wednesday Night Hump Day Moderate Ride
Where: Westernhills Babtist Curch 29th and Auburn road
When: 6:15 PM
Who: Ride Leader will be Barb Engler
How: Ride normally goes to Dover or Valencia Rd and is about 20 miles round trip
Pace: Speed determined by group

Thursday Night Dover Dog Ride
Where: Westernhills Babtist Curch 29th and Auburn
When: 6:00 PM
Who: Ride Leader will be Paul Engler and Larry Langley
How: Ride normally goes to Dover and is about 20 miles
Pace: Mixed group of riders but all go as fast as they can

Friday Night Shunga Trail Ride
Where: Bagel Express 28th and Fairlawn
When: 6:30 PM
Who: Ride Leader will be Doug Burris
How: Ride goes the entire length of Shunga Trial 12 miles
Pace: This is a social ride and is great for getting your kids involved in cycling. munchies afterward.

Saturday Morning Fairlawn Starter
Where: Fairlawn Plaza
When: 8:00 AM
Who: Ride Leader will be Larry Langley
How: Ride is a 15 mile loop that ends up back at Bagel Express
Pace: Great ride for new riders. Mixed group that divides according to speed, but re-groups at several stops
